Works very well. Moving the dot from the 'i' to the 'f', but not duplicating it was a good idea. It made me look at the 'f' twice...wondering where the dot had disappeared...and that is of course the goal.
Keep them coming! I love these logotypes. You're getting much better with every venture!

Inspiration:
the F letterform itself. Next was to find/choose a suitable F-word which is not inappropriate.
Some designs work better conceptually than others.
