After the festivities of the John Langdon-inspired NAC, we return to our regular monthly challenge: the April 2007 NAC. The phrase was 'Thank You', as a nod to all participants and visitors alike who contributed in one way or another to make the past NAC a success!
.
Frankly, this posed phrase was also to coax out potential k-k solutions, that being arguably one of THE most difficult combinations. To add a little spice to this month's challenge, we invite participants and visitors alike to vote your favourite design. The first design (below) - from hosts/organizers nagfa - is not eligible for voting:
nagfa (singapore)
Without further ado, the entries. The designer with the most votes (voting ends on May 15th 2007) will be invited to be the guest challenger for NAC June 2007. So do cast your vote and leave your comments. Enjoy!

What a difficult choice! I don't envy you this task every month. However one does jump out as being very readable, and a good not overly complex design. It doesn't have a k-k, but then a ! was not officially part of the challenge phrase so isn't necessarily required - I pick alessandro!

Choosing an ambigram every month will be hard for us, because all are great!!! But you know that I'm in love with gothic letters. I vote Jinoe's ambigram.

Hmm, I can't vote for myself, can I? ;) I vote for Alessandro's ambigram! Very easy to read and nice colours too :) Good entries, everyone! I really like Scalpod's and Alberto Portacio's solutions too, but my vote remains unchanged :)

I didn't understand at all the necessity to solve the matter k-k. I am sorry with my mistake. I suppose that the same has happened to others.
I like very much several designs, but considering only the altogether design and its legibility, my vote is for Alessandro.
Good job everybody!

(From Ruel):my vote goes to alberto portacio from colombia. I like his work because it is very readable, and also his solution is brilliant for having a space between the two words to enhance readability.

(From Fraga):my favorite ambigram is the
´Thankyou´ by Homero.

There's still time to vote.. The winner will be notified through email.

My vote goes to Tom Banwell simply for being able to create a relatively readable rotational Ambigram without any extra vertical strokes tacked onto the beginning or end. Bravo! -Mark Palmer aka WowTattoos

Voto por el ambigrama de Tom Banwell por su fácil lectura, que para mi concepto, es el principal ingrediente que debe tener un ambigrama.
