You have a very impressive collection. Have you made all these ambigrams yourselves??? Stunning!
I am new in this world ... read Angels & Demons, got introduced to John Langdon, and somehow stumbled upon your site.
How do you create them on computer? Draw on paper and scan? How do they retain this level of clarity? I am trying to create a few for some of my side passions, and would love to know if there's a tool that automatically creates the other half as you draw the first part. Any pointers you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at nmoghal@cccinternet.com
Please keep up the good work.
P.S. I have been to Singapore a few times. Love the place! Always marvel at how clean it is!!!
hi, nadeem!
thank you for visiting our blog..
Yes, we have made them ourselves. Most are our own concepts, designs and solutions. Some are of course, inspired by other magnificent ambigram artists worldwide (under the sidebar Ambigram Mates).
we usually hand draw, scan and add in the colours using PhotoShop (not the most appropriate software; Illustrator or other vector programme would provide more assistance, we've been told)..
The 'duplication process' concerning the half of the word is done using PhotoShop too..
Do come visit us again, and maybe join in our monthly ambigram challenge through NAC..
salam (peace),
nagfa
